MAP_IT was set up by the Government of Madhya Pradesh as an enabling organization to implement IT policy and to propel growth of IT. MAP_IT serves as a technical consultant to the MP government, formulates guidelines, conceptualizes broad system configurations and develops road map for IT related/ e-governance projects/ initiatives. It has already been involved in all major IT/ e-governance initiatives taken by the government. Presently, MAP_IT’s efforts are focused on electronic delivery of government services to citizens, computerization of working of government departments and human resource development for IT sector. Its services include facilitation to IT projects of government departments/ agencies, conceptualization, project related scope documentation, preparation of tenders, EoIs, RFPs, evaluation of proposals, technical guidance and supervision.
